How Edge8 turns one idea into a published post, three social posts and an email in under 30 minutes, with nobody at the keyboard
Steps from idea to live post, each one a checked hand-off. A pipeline cannot skip.
Model cost per post at list price, about 50,000 output tokens.
Human gates left in the whole system: the weekly letter approval, and every outbound sales email.
A founder-led company has one person who can write in its voice, and that person is also the one selling. We put the brand voice in the database, built a ten-step pipeline that writes, edits, illustrates, links and publishes from a one-line idea, and pointed the same discipline at sales: every call transcribed into the CRM the same night, scored against a fixed scorecard on Sunday, and the follow-up drafted but never sent without a human.

A founder-led company has one person who can write in its voice, and that person is also the one selling. The calendar showed it: 27 pieces published in August 2025, 5 in January 2026, 2 in May. The brand rules lived in one head, so nobody else could write, and an AI draft from a generic prompt read like everyone else's.
Sales had the mirror image. Calls happened, notes happened sometimes, and the CRM knew a deal existed when someone remembered to create it. There was no way to ask which calls last month never got a next step, because the calls were not in the database.
“I had a brand voice and no bandwidth. Every week I chose between writing about the work and doing it. The work won.”
Dave Hajdu, founder
Every scored call is a lesson.
The education is built into the loop. The Sunday scorecard returns coaching notes with each score, and the first number a seller sees is their own talk ratio. The writer stores its edit log with the post, so the founder can see what the editor changed and why. The concepts themselves are taught in public, in the posts linked below.
- The voice moved into the database. One brand profile per brand holds the positioning, audience, voice, content rules, an editing lens, an SEO lens, the image style and the per-channel rules. Every step of the writer reads its instructions from there. Change the voice in one place and every future post changes.
- A campaign is one idea with a date. The idea, the goal, the pillar, the brand, a start date. That is the whole brief.
- Ten steps, each a hand-off. Draft, edit with a stored change log, SEO, exhibits, hero image, internal links, assemble, validate, channels, publish. LinkedIn, Facebook, email and X are re-derived from the final body. A failed check stops the run and names the step. Nothing moves on by default.
- Built in Claude Code, run on the right model for each step. Our engineers build in Claude Code. At runtime one registry picks the model: Claude Fable 5.1 writes and edits the post, because there the output is the product; Sonnet 5 and Haiku 4.5 run the recaps and routines, where speed and cost matter; Gemini draws the hero image. Every run records its tokens, which is how we know a post costs $3 to $4, and how we move a step to a cheaper model when the quality holds.
- Publishing is a switch per brand. Off parks the run for a human click. Edge8 turned it on in September 2026. An hourly routine starts the run the day before a campaign begins and re-arms any hand-off that dropped, which happens about one step in six.
- The letter is written by an agent and sent by a person. Every Monday it gathers the week, picks three posts never featured, writes under 220 words, rotates the layout and the call to action, and sends a test to the approver. It never sends to the list.
- Sales calls become rows the same night. Every recorded call lands in the CRM as a searchable transcript. A second routine writes the meeting and drafts one follow-up email per call, never sent without a human. Every Sunday each sales call is scored 1 to 5 on five dimensions: talk ratio, pain quantified, product fit, objection surfaced, next step.
- Idea to ready-to-publish in under 30 minutes, 10 to 15 of them model time. Before: a day of the founder's time, when it happened.
- 11 posts published in August and 11 in September 2026, after 2 in May. 52 writer runs in September, 48 clean.
- Two letters sent and 414 delivered to prospects and clients, with the third drafting itself for Monday.
- 45 sales calls in the database with scorecards, and an average sales call score on the company dashboard, target 4.0.
- 140 deals through one pipeline, 43 won. 1,826 routine runs recorded in September with status, duration and tokens on one page.
A brand profile with a voice, rules, an editing lens and per-channel rules is the difference between AI content that sounds like you and AI content that sounds like AI. The next writer, human or model, starts from the same page.
An agent decides what to do next, which means it can skip the step you cared about. Ten named steps with a check between each cannot. When one fails, you know which one.
The letter agent and the call routine both write the email and stop. A human approval costs thirty seconds a week. An agent emailing your client list costs you the list.
This runs on the same Company OS we install for clients. If you want the people who built it inside your company, talk to us about the roles you actually need.
